Calueque Dam Bomb Damage

(27th June 1988)

On 27th June 1988 Calueque dam was bombed by 4 Cuban piloted MiG-23s. Each dropped 2 parachute-retarded bombs. 12 South African soldiers were killed. These are photos of the damage that was inflicted.

These photos were received without the knowledge of the actual photographer. We are publishing them at present, but will be delighted to credit the actual photographer when he makes contact, or remove his pictures from this site at his request.
